Recently, Nola Wellman renovated her front yard ... the landscaping around Eanes ISD Central Administration. This went way beyond "sprucing-up" ... we all know how expensive it is to have manicured oak tree, paver patios, and completely new landscaping installed.

The once native area is now cultivated ... tree are trimmed, grass is laid, new sidewalks, flowers, bushes, stone edging, a new paver path and expansive patio under the trees.

How much did this aesthetic improvement cost? And how much will it cost to maintain ... think fertilizing, watering, mowing?

Think: Was this a necessary expense or a wish-list item? (And this is in addition to the vast interior improvements such as new carpet, new paint, new furniture ...)
